The town of Hostivice is planning to turn one of its deserted corner plots of land into a park for local teenagers, offering a place for skateboarding and parkour, as well as a bouldering wall. Two large ground trampolines will be added for active relaxation.
The main attraction – a concrete bowl combined with surface ‘real street’ elements and an undulated pump track – will offer a high-level sport experience to skateboarders and trick scooter riders.
The whole park has smooth, barrier-free surfaces suitable for riding on small wheels. The upper level is made of jointless concrete pavement, while the other surfaces are covered with very smooth concrete. At the back, ornamental grasses and a new tree make a soft, natural background for the sports equipment.
