HOW IS THE PLANTING OF NEW TREES IN OSTRČILOVO SQUARE GOING?

Comprehensive revitalisation of a street corner space is under way in Ostrčilovo Square, Prague 2.

First, connected root spaces for new trees were created and filled with structural soil. Next, the whole area was evened out and a layer of gravel was added to prepare the surface for new pavement.

Recently, circular segments made of strip steel have been installed around the newly planted trees to delimit spaces for underplanting.

Vegetation works will continue in the autumn, when the right time comes.
